“Great value!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2007

I was looking for an inexpensive place for one night in Chattanooga. Being a single mom, I didn't want to spend alot of money on a hotel room. This was a pleasent surprise. Beds were fine, air conditioning worked great, plenty of hot water for shower - refrigerator and microwave in room. I signed up on the hotel website for their discount program for free and received a 15% discount. Don't get me wrong - it wasn't the Hilton, but then again for only $55 - it was a great deal.

“Clean room, good bed, helpful staff.”

Nice hotel. I got a very good rate online. Check-in was fast and courteous. The room was pretty standard. Everything worked fine. Half the rooms face a busy city street, but there is a row of trees that really block alot of traffic noise.

The continental breakfast was just so-so, but it was free, too. I had no hassles whatsoever. The staff was very helpful with directions around town and with messages.

  • Liked — The staff was great. I don't usually get service that nice in comparable hotels.
  • Disliked — Kindof far from downtown.
  • Tips/Secrets — My internet directions said to stay on Lee Hwy from downtown to get there. Take the interstate!

“Never again!”

Travelling from Louisiana to Pennsylvania, Chattanooga is about the 1/2 way point. I had booked this hotel from their home website. We stayed once on our trip to PA and once again on the way back. What a mistake! The first room was dirty and the recliner was so badly broken you could not sit in it. The floors and bathroom were old and dirty. We asked for another chair and were brought a straight back chair that was so dirty we had to put towels on it to sit on it. The stay on the was back was even worse. Again the recliner was badly broken and when we asked for a replacement we were told that all the recliners in the hotel were broken and they had nothing to replace it with. The blanket on the bed was full of holes and hair! The floors were dirty as well. What a nightmare. We will never stay here again.

“Not bad for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2006

For the price of $50 plus taxes the room was okay. It was clean, which is most important to me. The hotel itself could use some improvement. The walls leading up the stairs are in need of painting along with other painting needed, which sometimes sets a bad impression from the beginning. The lobby was nice and clean. I didn't eat breakfast, but my mother did and she said it was good. The area seemed to be in an okay area but it was hard to tell. We had stuff loaded on top our vehicle and it was all intact the next morning, so that was good. The lobby stays open 24 hours. I didn't use the pool, so I don't know anything about it. I don't know if I'ld stay here again, but I don't have any complaints about it either. It was just an okay stay.

  • Liked — It was clean
  • Disliked — the upkeep of the hotel
  • Tips/Secrets — always read about hotels before booking rooms

“It was an alright place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2006

This was an alright place for 40 bucks but be cautious because the online rates for this hotel are high. I paid that walking in the door which was alot less than what I could have paid online. Its just a basic economy hotel. My only complaints were that the room could have been vaccumed better because there were little pieces of paper on the floor and the wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off the wall. Its alright if you pay 40 bucks but if you pay 60 like you would pay online you would be paying too much. It was an alright place for just a night but the bed was a little uncomfortable.

  • Liked — The price was good
  • Disliked — The room could have been a little better if things were a little more kept.
  • Tips/Secrets — Call the hotel to see what they charge because online rates for this place are high
