“Never again!”

Travelling from Louisiana to Pennsylvania, Chattanooga is about the 1/2 way point. I had booked this hotel from their home website. We stayed once on our trip to PA and once again on the way back. What a mistake! The first room was dirty and the recliner was so badly broken you could not sit in it. The floors and bathroom were old and dirty. We asked for another chair and were brought a straight back chair that was so dirty we had to put towels on it to sit on it. The stay on the was back was even worse. Again the recliner was badly broken and when we asked for a replacement we were told that all the recliners in the hotel were broken and they had nothing to replace it with. The blanket on the bed was full of holes and hair! The floors were dirty as well. What a nightmare. We will never stay here again.

“Not bad for the price”

For the price of $50 plus taxes the room was okay. It was clean, which is most important to me. The hotel itself could use some improvement. The walls leading up the stairs are in need of painting along with other painting needed, which sometimes sets a bad impression from the beginning. The lobby was nice and clean. I didn't eat breakfast, but my mother did and she said it was good. The area seemed to be in an okay area but it was hard to tell. We had stuff loaded on top our vehicle and it was all intact the next morning, so that was good. The lobby stays open 24 hours. I didn't use the pool, so I don't know anything about it. I don't know if I'ld stay here again, but I don't have any complaints about it either. It was just an okay stay.

“It was an alright place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2006

This was an alright place for 40 bucks but be cautious because the online rates for this hotel are high. I paid that walking in the door which was alot less than what I could have paid online. Its just a basic economy hotel. My only complaints were that the room could have been vaccumed better because there were little pieces of paper on the floor and the wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off the wall. Its alright if you pay 40 bucks but if you pay 60 like you would pay online you would be paying too much. It was an alright place for just a night but the bed was a little uncomfortable.

  • Liked — The price was good
  • Disliked — The room could have been a little better if things were a little more kept.
  • Tips/Secrets — Call the hotel to see what they charge because online rates for this place are high

“Great Budget Property”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2006

We stayed at this property for a 2-night stay while visiting Chattanooga. Upon check-in, the staff was very friendly. Requested a room on the first floor and we were accommodated. The room was very clean with a small refrigerator and microwave. This property has a great "small" place feel.

They serve a continental breakfast consisting of homemade waffles, cereals, pastries, & juices. There is also an outdoor pool, which was also very clean. There is a great WI-FI connection at the hotel.

The only problem that we encountered is the room attendant did not make up the beds after the first night at the property. The front said that he must not have understood what we wanted.

All in all, great budget place for the money. There is a large shopping mall with lots of shopping about 5 minutes from the hotel and downtown Chattanooga is about 15 minutes away. I will be back on my next trip.

“Worth Every $ense”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 March 2006

Just returned from a mini Chattanooga Spring Break 06 to the Aquarium, IMAX, and Kid's Museum. We paid $50 before taxes for this hotel directly from the web. The hotel was easy to get to, just right off I75 and is about 15 minutes from the Aquarium. There are a couple of Fast Food restaurants and gas stations nearby. This is a family owned hotel (franchise)... but please don't let that fool you. The hotel seemed to be very new, very clean, well managed. This hotel houses about 40 rooms and it reminds me of a big 2 story house. There is also an outdoor pool, but it was closed due to the season. The security level is not compromised by the size of the hotel where a room card is required to get into the building. The indoor corridor was well lit, decorated lightly, and up to date. The doors are well sealed to keep out the noises. The room (Double) was large and clean. The sink area is separated from the bathroom (which was clean). The beds were firm (might have been a little too firm for MY liking). The air conditioning was running quietly. The TV had several cable channels to choose from. The breakfast room is furnished with a brick fireplace, a couch, a love seats and a handful worth of tables and chairs. The breakfast items offered were- make-it-yourself waffle, pastries, bread slices, apple, cold cereals, coffee, and juices.

Overall, we made a good decision staying at this hotel. The family was friendly yet professional. Sometimes, bigger doesn't mean better...
