May 4-8, 2010 (4 nights). I had booked a handicapped room online because a family member living in Chattanooga had suffered a stroke and there was a possibility that another relative (handicapped) from out of town might be staying with me at this Motel 6 while we visited our ill relative. Anyway, the room I booked had suffered water damage around the time of the Nashville flood and was not available, but the staff called me on my cell and kindly arranged another room, and it all worked out just fine. This motel is not a Hilton. Its a Motel 6. As advertised, it was clean enough, comfortable enough, they "left the light on for me" and it was a GOOD value - and everything (A/C, TV, etc.) worked properly. They even offered wake-up calls and free coffee each morning. My only negative comment is that this non-smoking room smelled quite smokey, but using the A/C improved the oder over time.

In spite of some bad reviews we booked a room. It is the lowest priced motel room I've ever used. The staff was friendly and the room was clean a smelled okay. There were a few old cigarette burns around and some signs of age on the building, but considering the price I'd say it was a great deal. The parking lot and surrounding area did not seem unsafe to me (as another reviewer said). I'd recommend it to any budget minded travelers and I'd stay there again.

Worst stay ever! No towels!! Said it would be 11 am before clean towels were available!!! When we complained to manager she offered a free night stay at any M6. She said she was out of free vouchers but would mail one. Lie, lie, lie!!!! I called her several times over the next few weeks. She would pretend not to know me at first. Then she would suddenly remember. She would promise to mail vouchers that day. Three times she promised. Nothing received. Lie!!!!!! Oh yeah, carpet was god-awful filthy!

Desk clerk had excellent customer service skills. So excellent, we expected the room to be the same. Room was not so clean. The carpet was extra filthy. The linen was so thin it was if we were sleeping on the mattress. I woke up the next morning to find that I had been bitten by a bed bug. My arm is still swollen from the bite. My son enjoyed the pool but over all I did not enjoy my stay. I will never visit another Motel 6.
