My husband and I were on a budget & needed an inexpensive place to stay passing through Chattanooga for one night. When we got to ABVI we were greeted by Jay at the front desk. He was very nice and helpful. We asked for a nonsmoking king room on the 2nd floor & we were told there were only 2 queens & smoking rooms on the 2nd floor so, we accepted the first floor. Once we got in the room there was dust all over the walls & lampshades & fingerprints all over the microwave. The bathroom floor had mildew in all the corners & then I realized the door would not even lock & the door frame was broken. My husband went back & asked Jay for another room & then he offered us one on the 2nd floor? I thought they didn't have any nonsmoking king beds on the 2nd floor. Once we moved I felt more comfotable but, I would never stay @ this hotel again! It was nasty. I didn't even want to touch anything in the room or sleep in bed in fear of catching an STD or something. I forgot mention about the couches in both rooms that were disgusting with stains & holes. And, the comforter & sheets also had holes.
