Just returned from our 7 night stay in 2 Little Foot Chalet's (there were 10 of us in side by side cabins) This place is great for that "get away from it all vacation". 2 boat ramps on site, free in water boat and jet ski docking and nice cabins and well taken care of faciliy. The staff and managment were great and helpfull .Not many negs to mention......when we were there the temp was in the mid 90's and our cabins would be in the low 80's during the day......That is a bummer after a hot day on the water,,,,,they will achieve 72 by 4 am though. We also rented a pontoon that seemed a bit tired and overpriced. The 19 ft ski boat we rented for a day was GREAT, but @ $320 a day we only kept it for 1 day. All in all it was a great trip, We prob wont stay again, NOT because of the negs, just because it is sooo remote. It is a 20min drive (very narrow and windy road for 8 miles) just to get to a "real" road then 20 more min to either town. If you do go check out the Bobcat Den Restaurant in Byrdstown (25 mIn) I felt guilty paying $80 for 10 of us to fill ourselves great homemade food....GREAT and CHEAP. Also take ALL of your provisions as the marina has no "stock" and there is no restaurant on site. There are 2 grocery stores approx 25 min away. Lastly, the entire area is "dry" or "moist" meaning you may find a six pack of beer in some counties for a premium, but NO spirits within 100 miles...lol. Lots of family and fun.

We recently rented a house at Eagle Cove Reosrt for 5 days and a pontoon boat for 2 days and our family of 12 (plus a baby!) had a great time. Eagle Cove has a number of different size houses, however we rented one of the largest - the Bigfoot Chalet. House had 5 bedrooms and 4 baths and was perfect for our group of 8 adults, 4 kids, and 1 baby. Dining room table could fit everyone, hot tub was great, and even when it rained and we were stuck inside we never felt crowded. For a group get together I would definately recommend this place.
