Pool was closed due to "health reasons" Had to have the sheets changed because of blood and hair on them. No hot water, washcloths had feces on them. No ventilation in the bathroom. Went down for breakfast but ended up playing it safe and leaving after the creamer for the coffee came out in lumps. Worst stay I have ever had ANYWHERE!!

This is an older hotel. But it is very clean, and the price is right.

Pros:

-cribs were free
-nice pool, open late, the hot tub was nice & hot!!!
-free breakfast, basic continental
-nice staff
-economical
-quiet, comfortable beds, we had a good sleep

Cons:
-room was humid
-why was there a cleaning cart in the hallway all night? The hotel was virtually empty...
-no fridge or microwaves in rooms
-older hotel, therefore smaller rooms

We had a good stay for one night while we were traveling through, but I would probably choose a nicer hotel if we were to stay for a longer period of time.

I stayed there on a recent trip to Vermillion and found the hotel adequate. When you walk in the main entrance, the reception desk is on the left, breakfast area to the right. The pool is in front of you as are stairs leading to the upper floors.

My room was on the first floor and there was a strong odor of smoke outside of it, but inside it was fine. The bed was adequate, but not overly comfortable, the tv did not have HBO, but had Encore and sufficient channels to browse.

The breakfast had some very basic items, nothing too elaborate though, but had waffles, cereal, toast and some juice.

For a quick stay was not bad but if I was there longer, would probably opt for a hotel with a more comfortable bed and larger breakfast selection.

Had a reservation at this hotel. I cancelled it at least 2 weeks prior to arrival date. I was still charged on my credit card for a night's stay. When I noticed I'd been charged I immediately called the hotel. Of course you cannot talk to the General Mgr. They are always "out" or work different hours. So far I've called the hotel at least 3 separate times, still no resolution. Their attitude is that it's not their problem, even though their employee failed to cancel my reservation. Extremely POOR customer service.
