This was the best deal I found for the money on a recent trip to the Black Hills. It's run by very nice people. They actually undercharged me and wouldn't allow me to pay the difference. Even at full price it's a bargain! If you like the sound of water then request a creekside room in the summer, when you can open the window and plainly hear the Spearfish River. The room has everything someone would want, and it's away from the noise of the traffic too. There's a path by the river that's fun to walk. Great place!!

We just spent two nights at the Spearfish Creek Inn. Had one of the rooms that look out onto Spearfish Creek and it's paved trail. Room was clean and a good value. No pool, free breakfast or wifi, but at this price point, you don't expect that. Room had a fridge. There is a microwave in the office you can use.

We stayed there for one night on a roadtrip, and we more than satisfied (great value for 60 bucks)! Outside it may seem simple and a bit hidden from the main street, but inside everything was clean and new. Whe room was spacious and you could actually hear and see the creek from the window! We felt absolutely safe. Maybe some light breakfast wouldn't hurt, but for the price I'd rather compromise breakfast, than clean room and safety.

This small motel is in a beautiful setting by Spearfish Creek. You have to search for it because it's not right on the busy streets, so we are really glad we found it. The rooms are spotless; the property has lawn, trees, and flowers. We used the gas grill that was provided for customers and sat at one of the picnic tables to eat. Very relaxing.
