We have only ever stayed in the Branch House so I can only comment on those rooms. Very close to downtown, within stumbling distance. Rooms are clean and well kept. They add nice little touches to the rooms. Eye makeup remover packets, Febreeze Air freshener. Kind of comforts of home. The office has various supplies available for sale too. Toiletries, groceries, beer. We will be back. The female owner is so nice and accommodating, the male owner is nice enough.

This motel was very clean (as advertised), staff was friendly, and the room was pretty comfortable. We had a smoking room, and they offered to run an ionizer in the room before we arrived (no smell at all). Definitely a great choice considering the price was about 1/3 of what most of the other motels close to Main St were charging in August. Just a few minutes walk down Main to the casinos, and the trolley goes by, as well.

Close to main street nice clean room not super mod cons but all you need for your stay in this area if you don't plan to spend much time in your room ower very helpful close to all sights rushmore etc

The Branch House at the Penny Motel was the best !! Room was large, very clean,and the bed was awesome with a big comfy quilt not your usual motel bedding. It made us feel right at home .Had everything we wanted fridge , mic, and the staff were wonderful. The price was great . We booked for 6 days and ended up rebooking for 2 more days. We highly recommend the Branch House.You can walk 3 blocks to downtown or catch the trolly.
