I have had a couple of months behind me since last staying at the Bullock in August and realized that I had failed to put in another positive comment. Although the management had changed hands, we still received a warm welcome and enjoyed eating great, over-the-top breakfasts at Bully's! We only wished it had stayed open for dinner as well due to the excellent quality of food. My husband, a former chef, is very particular about his food and even he was as anxious as I to head down in the morning to eat. The portions were very generous and we always had leftovers we hated leaving behind, but it was too much for us to finish. (Since we were there four days, we tried various items from the menu and they were all great). Our haunted room 302 also did not disappoint us - it was always clean. quiet and a welcoming place to rest after busy days of sight seeing. Old Seth is a friendly sort of ghost and his presence is definately in this historic piece of Deadwood. We will return as soon as we stack up enough vacation days next year and I sincerely cannot wait. The Bullock is where we will stay and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a warm welcome and a relaxing place to stay.
