The customer service at this property was memorable. Because we hadn't arrived before 7PM they called to tell us that their office would only be open until 1 or 2AM, and left a number to call in case we arrived after that time. Also, as soon as we were in our room, the front desk called to make sure that everything was OK with our room.
We stayed in the "lodge" property. All of the rooms open to the outside and you must access the higher floors by way of the stairs. Our room certainly met our needs. It had tile floors, microwave and refrigerator, table and chairs, and a flat-screen television. The bathroom had been recently redone with an attractively tiled shower with a glass sliding door. If I could have changed anything about the room it would be the bed linens. I'm just not a huge fan of those polyester bedspreads that never get washed.
The free wireless internet worked well. The free breakfast was typical: hot waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, muffins, cereal, juice/coffee/tea. The breakfast room was in the restaurant that opens to the pool area.
From the outside this is a very dated-looking and discombobulated property. The property is dotted with several different buildings in different styles. We had trouble located the reception initially, because we arrived in the dark, and the sign is kind of small. The property is dominated by brick by two-story brick buildings that look very 1950s. But then there is also a 3-story white-singled building jutted out from one side of the property (the "lodge") and then a several story shingled high-rise on the other side of the property. Everything was manicured and well-taken care of, but just looked dated.
The property is right on the beach. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would stay there again.
