My wife & I stayed here for a week in March. The place looks nice on the outside & it was reasonable ($40./nite) The rooms are layed out nice & have full size fridges & small ranges (plus toaster).

Our main complaint was that all three spigots dripped. We finally had someone show up & made two of them better but one drip is almost as loud as three.

There is no indoor pool, so we were glad to see the spa, but it was only marginally enjoyable because it was only about as warm as a heated pool (mid 80's...for a hot tub, this is COLD!)

At checkout, when we complained about the dripping keeping us up, the desk clerk generously handed us a a five dollar bill...wow, that's about .70/nite!

In summary: there are plenty of better choices, but for an inexpensive room, it wasn't that bad. But please turn up the heat on that spa!

This place Lands Inn is with Sea Shore and let me tell you that place has bugs and stinks i would not let my dog stay there. When my brother stayed there luckly we stayed at Sandy Beach next door. They had no hot water for half of day the room had bugs water bugs and roaches and the staff had an attutide when approched about the water. If you need a room and dont care where you stay thats a place for you then

My teenage daughters and myself just returned home from this hotel today. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly helpful staff members. Even though we did not have a reservation, and there was a marathon in town, we were able to secure an Oceanfront Efficiency for the weekend. The room was clean and nice. We had plenty of towels etc. The kitchenette area was clean as were all the dishes, utensils, etc. Evidently, after reading the comments on here of previous guests that were all negative,this hotel is either under new mgmt. or they have stepped their game up. I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I did not like was the water temp. in the jacuzzi was a little chilly, but what can you expect when the outdoor temp was under 40 degrees.

For at least 12 years my family has used Land's Inn when we vacationed in Myrtle Beach. After our stay in 2005 for our daughter's high school graduation and family stay we will NEVER stay there again. When we 1st began staying at Land's Inn there was a very polite lady that run the front desk. It was a pleasure to even call to make your reservations. When I called in February of 2005 to make our reservations I asked for the large open room at Land's Inn that has 3 double beds in a total of two rooms since my family of four plus two more people would be staying. There was also a reservation made by my mother for her and my step dad so they could spend time with us. I asked for the rooms to be as close to each other as possible as we cook meals together while we are there. I was informed that room was not available but they had one on the Sea Shore side and they could reserve my mother's room right next door. I asked specifically if it was just exactly like the Room Type # 5 listed on the website for Land's Inn so we would have the room we always have. I was told yes. What a lie!!!!! When we got there we had a room that had 3 double beds between two rooms but that was all the comparison to the rooms. We did not have a couch (or the room for one), and there was only room for two people to eat at the table (even though two more chairs were beside the beds. It was a big hassle at meal time every morning and at lunch for 8 people to try to eat together. We never had that problem in the other room and that is why we always request it. When I went back to the front desk at Sea Shore (where I had to check in as I was staying on that side) I was told Land's Inn made the reservations and to see them. And my mother's room was three floors up from us and on the opposite end of the hotel. I don't call that next door. The man on the Lan's Inn side was not polite and did not care. His comment was if we did not like we were welcome to leave and go somewhere else but they would charge us for one night. What customer service. Not one time did he even apoligize. He never smiled at us and never even acted nice to us. We spent over $1000.00 between the two rooms for four nights and were treated like we were there at their expense and owed them. The owner really needs to visit this place and make some changes in his staff. We will never stay there again. And we have let the four other families that have stayed there and our youth group at our church that has stayed there know to not come back. The rooms are not being kept up as nicely either. It was not a spic and span room upon our initial entry as it had been in years before. Apparently the nice lady that previously run it kept tabs on the employees and cared about the guests like it was her place.
