We booked this hotel for September 10 as we were already in Myrtle Beach, SC & wanted to extend our vacation. However, most places were booked for the weekend. Upon arrival, before seeing the room, we booked another night (September 11). Huge mistake. When we got to the room, I was shocked at the conditions of the room. The toilet seat had an oily residue & the tub looked like it had not been cleaned. The kitchen area was horrible. Rust covered the appliances inside & out. Fungus was growing under the microwave on top of the refrigerator. Droppings were behind the microwave on top of the refrigerator. Silverware was on the floor under the sink. The bedcovers had numerous cigarette burn holes & mildew. I checked the linens to discover a brown spot on the pillows. After further inspection, I removed the pillow from the pillowcase to discover mildew & big brown stains all over the pillows. The smoke alarm did not have batteries. This place was so bad that we did not take our possessions off of the luggage cart & asked for a refund. The nicest thing I can say about this oceanfront room was that it had a lightswitch to control the balcony light & that the office employees quickly agreed to a refund. Although we have the paperwork for the refund, we left Friday & have not received a refund through our bank as of Monday at 1:32pm.

My husband and I like to do things at the spur of the moment. We decided to leave home and go to the beach for a few nights. upon arriving, we finally found a hotel with vacancys. We checked in and then realized we had to either do major cleaning to stay here or go back home which was three hours away. The entire hotel room was unsanitary. The bathtub was nasty and around the toilet was worse. There was a terrible loking black spot on the ceiling I assume from water damage. This room also had a stove, refrigerator and microwave which was all just nasty to say the least. Even after getting gloves and cleaning supplies and then cleaning the room, I was still telling my husband let's get a refund. I was ready to sleep in the car. He insisted on staying and so we did. While sitting on the bed we sprayed down with Lysol, we both looked up and there was a big bug crawling down the other bed. Needless to say, we never undressed and I ended up putting my clothes back in the car until the next day. Thank goodness people had already started checking out of descent hotels and we were able to get a nicer suite at a great hotel. We have decided to still be spontaneous with doing things, but we have learned from this experience to be a lot better at checking places out before signing on the line.

This was the first year that my whole family was going on vacation together. We had paid our deposit by phone expecting the motel to look like it's advertisements on the website...NOTHING LIKE IT!!! We got there at 11AM and it was 101 outside, we had several children with us under age 5 and was hoping we could go ahead and check in as the parking lot looked empty. We go into the front desk and meet 2 very rude people (EMPLOYEES) and told them about our reservations and the first thing out of the ladies mouth before i could even finish my sentence was"check in is at 3 and when you check out don't try to get them backwards and try and check out at 3 instead of 11". Then i proceeded to ask them about the diagram on the website that showed a room that had 2 queen size beds that looked to have a little more room in them. After asking the question twice the man looked up from the computer screen with this ridiculous face and was like what are you asking and no there is no more room in it and if we wanted to go ahead move we could use the restrooms down the hall or go get in the pool. i have never been spoken to that way and we walked out and went 2 doors to the right and checked into the CORAL BEACH RESORT where we were treated like the guest we should have been treated like to begin with. PLEASE DONT GO TO BEACHSIDE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO ENJOY YOURSELF AND BE SAFE.....

This was the worst hotel EVER .I stayed here about 2 years ago ,i swear it was not like it is now.we put our things in the room and left to go out,when we got back there were Roaches in the bathroom and i got to really looking around this place needs to be CLEANED UP....and i still dont know where the ear ring we found when we came back cause IT WAS NOT THERE WHEN WE LEFT,and to top it all off the guy at the desk acted like we were lying when we went to the office and DEMANDED a FULL REFUND THANK YOU MESSING UP OUR FAMILY GET AWAY.
