“Clean and Convenient!”

My daughter and I tent camped at the Myrtle Beach KOA for one night last week...and it was a terrific experience. We used this site as a pit stop on our way down to a wedding in Edisto Island, and we'll definitely be back.

The folks at the front office were extremely helpful and nice. There were not many other tent campers there that night so we got our pick...and they gave us guidance as to which sites were the best.

The actual site itself was very nice, shaded, and clean. We selected tent site G since it was fairly close to the bathrooms. The location was great. Since it wasn't too crowded I was able to let my daughter ride her bike around the two "streets" adjacent to us by herself while I got camp set up.

We didn't have time to check out all the ammenities, but we did use the pool and the jumping pillow, which were nice. We tried to do a hayride, but it didn't coincide with the day we were there.

The showers and bathrooms were fine. Nothing to write home about...but they were clean.

The location was perfect. It is on a quiet street, about 2.5 blocks from the beach. We brought our bikes and were in the sand in no time. We also got to check out the mini golf, which is about 100 yards from the entrance of the KOA.

All in all, we had a terrific time and will definitely be back.

“AWESOME KOA”

After coming from the mediocre situation in Mt. Pleasant, I was a little worried, but I was super surprised. The service is amazing - they even got me ice after hours and had me just pay in the morning. The cleanliness is great - watched staff even wiping out the washing machines and dryers. The layout is quite nice, lots of things for kids to do. Loved the free shuttle to the beach, but we also found it easy and close enough to walk when our schedule didn't line up with the shuttle. Everyone is super friendly. I was thrilled and would stay here again.

“This campground is amazing”

We stayed in a kamping lodge with our five children! This campground is absolutely amazing; it is in the heart of the Myrtle Beach area - just minutes away from the beach, and yet it was like staying in the woods, very relaxing. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. We did have ants here as well (we had them on our trip down in another KOA in SC); we were thinking its part of the South Carolina coast charm!!
This KOA had a jumping pillow as well as a sprinkler by the pool area. The game room was very nice and the laundry room was air conditioned, which was a nice treat that other KOA's do not have.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back again”

I was surprised to even get a site when we decided to join some friends for the holiday weekend. The KOA had one "no frills" site left and we took it not expecting much.

When we arrived, we were shocked to find a spacious site, EXCEPTIONALLY clean and private facilities and shower rooms, and a very well-run operation. I never spoke with a staff member who wasn't friendly and helpful. Those folks stayed on top of stuff around the clock. The activities and amenities were all a pleasant surprise.

We really didn't expect our stay to be this comfortable or clean (for staying at a campground), have never stayed at a KOA before, but I can guarantee that they have earned a new customer and we'll be placing their facilities at the top of our list of options from now on!
