When we checked into the hotel the staff was extreemly nice!!! She took her time and answered a few questions we had; very sweet women! However, when we got into our room and went to the bathroom... we couldn't close the door because the toilet was in the way!!! We didn't tell staff because we were just staying one night. Then we seen hair on the floor and a few on the sheets! The room was not cleaned thoroughly but it was already late and I figured I would just endure the hard bed for one night. When I woke up and turned on the light... there it was!!! A roach!!! If you see one; you know there are more!!! In the hotels defense I did not tell them; but I still would not recommend this hotel...

requested non smoking room but it had the smell of smoke, hotel was full so no moving. Have never been to a motel that the lobby wasn't open 24 hrs, had to check in through a hole in the window as we checked in at 1045pm were at the Darlington race everynight to after 12am so never was able to go in.Not like the area is a high crime area or anything.
Last year Stayed at the Hampton Inn next door, That were We'll be next year!

When to hubby's moms house for the holiday, Hotel was clean..the women who attended the front desk were the picture of southern hospitality even when our key stopped working on the second day of our stay they were friendly and corrected the problem immediately..on the other hand the clean up crew was very rude on the last day of our stay we were getting ourselves together for the check out and they knocked on the door every 5 seconds literally forcing us out..when the website stated check out was 11am they started knocking at 10am..i guess so they could hurry and smoke cigarettes because thats all they seemed to do....Overall it was a nice stay but unfortunately we will not be staying there because of this..

We were playing in a tournament in Sumter and lost our reservations there and this was the closest place we could find. There were 12 players and families with additional extended families. Our room smelled very musty as did many others. One of the rooms had sink that only trickeled and black stuff oozed from the drain. This is one of those rooms where you didn't want to take you shoes off. Also, apparently a double queen in Manning is really a double full where I come from. A decent breakfast as compaired to more expensive stays that week. Pool was clean. Wireless internet worked perfect. Had no problem with staff, in fact they allowed us a late check out which was very nice.
