I reserved a beach side villa through Pam Harrington Exclusives about 10 months prior to our stay. Let me say that the villa was really wonderful. We enjoyed every minute of our week on Kiawah Island, and the villa we stayed in really helped make the vacation. The villa was just a few steps away from the beach. It was clean, comfortable, surprisingly well equipped, and the decor was just perfect for a beach home. We had wonderful views and enjoyed the ocean breeze every morning and evening from the 2nd story screened in porch. I wish I was still there. We had two minor issues with the rental while there, and someone appeared within 24 hours each time to repair the problem. We also received a call from Pam Harrington 2 days prior to our departure to discuss what time we would be leaving, but also to make sure we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the rental property. I appreciated that effort to make sure we were happy with the rental and with our trip.

The reason I am not giving an Excellent rating is strictly due to the communication prior to our vacation. The gentleman who was coordinating the reservation process was not helpful when questions were asked (and there weren't many questions that I even asked) and was not informative at all. In the email which I sent my final payment, I made the request to him for the keys and car passes to be mailed to my brother who was also staying in the home, and everything was mailed to me (which I then had to mail to my brother) and I never received any response to my request at all. His other responses were very short and curt, and I almost cancelled the reservation due to his lack of customer service. It concerned me as to what we might encounter once we were in the rental home if we did experience any issues. Fortunately, I stayed with this rental and our experience on Kiawah Island was great.

We have been using Pam Harrington Rentals for over 20 years & can't say enough about their service. Their units are always impeccably decorated and maintained. The only downside is that in recent years the Kiawah resort has taken over the pools so that the only way you can use the pools is if you rent through them. It hasn't been a big problem though, as the beaches are wonderful and the kids don't seem to miss the pools. Sign up for a kayaking trip thru the marsh - a truly unforgettable experience.

Our children have grown up here on vacations. There are activities for every age group, and now that they are teens - the teen activities are great. We rent bikes for them thru Surfscooter rentals and they can safely go anywhere on the island. New Years celebrations are safe and entertaining even for the hard to please teens.

Absolutely perfect experience. Accommodations are beautifully maintained and I will continue to use Pam Harrington Exclusives for future stays. The folks at PH are helpful, professional and go above and beyond to make Kiawah Island the place for vacations.

This was our first time to Kiawah and the Charleston Area and we loved it. He have stayed at Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head and find Kiawah much more secluded and pristine. We rented a home just off the ocean in the Plantation and walked to the beach everyday, except for one when it rained. We dined in Charleston a couple nights, PHE found us a great baby sitter! If you are looking for great golf and beaches, then I recomend Kiawah. Everyone I talked to had also had a great experience with PHE.
