This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Carpet in stairwell filthy. Hallway carpets dirty.Rooms smelled awful . . . tried three differet rooms. Sheets and blankets damp. Musty and moldy smell. Awful.

We stayed here for our son's graduation from the U.S. Marine boot camp on Parris Island. I was not too sure what to expect after having read some reviews. We stayed two nights. The hotel is very basic, but clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful with information about location and time to leave for the events on Parris Island. The hotel receives a call before each graduation from Parris Island advising them if it is a large or small graduating class in order to help them prepare. This information is helpful also to know how soon we need to leave the hotel to be in time for different functions on Parris Island..........for example, if it is not a large graduation, traffic onto the base is not as bad as when there is a large graduation. Hotel was quiet - although we checked out the day of graduation. So, for parents of graduates looking for a basic place to stay and don't want to spend alot, I would recommend this place.

The staff was really nice, not to mention helpful. And the housekeeping did a great job freshening up our room. And the 24 hour coffee just made our stay perfect!
