Our visit was over the Thanksgiving holiday 2010 in the King Suite. My significant other and I are the types that don't get to get away often, but when we do...we look for the isolated, simple places. 3Royal suites was both-along with, it has Character, its luxurious <if you are not attracted to smoke and mirrors (large hotel chains)>, and was just what it was advertised to be. The breakfast in our rooms, was fresh, and prepared with care. The Howards were personable gracious hosts, and very attentive. Each time we left the house, we felt like we had to let someone know we were headed out for a spell. Yes, we felt at home.

As we drove up, our first impression of the 3 Royal was that it was a nicely maintained property right on the water. Once we were greeted by the owner Ms. Hazard and she checked us in, we were even more impressed. We had a two-room suite, and the bedroom had a window seat looking out on the bay. The weather was ugly, with rain and gusty wind, but sitting inside with a book was supremely relaxing. It was almost like being on a cruise ship. The furnishings were nice, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom appeared to have been remodeled in just the past few months. There was a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi available, and we used both. The breakfast menu was comprehensive, and we were served right in the room by the owner. Just to add icing to the cake, when we checked out, we found out that the Providence Airport was just a few minutes away. All in all, a wonderful stay.

This place was great. Our host, Daneish, was welcoming, gracious, helpful and went out of her way to make us feel comfortablle. 3 nights in October on Waterfront property was heavenly. It was warm enough to sit on the second floor deck and watch ships, swans, the local fox and more pass by.

On one morning I had to leave for a half day of work in Pawtucket (18 minutes away) and Daneish was waiting at the bottom of the stairs with a bagged breakfast for me.

Breakfast was served on our private deck outside our suite each morning. Our suite was comfortable and very private and quiet.

Our hosts created some unique decor and creative use of furniture throughout.

Everything in Rhode island is close by. Providence is 12 minutes away. Great restaurants in Wariwck (Crow's nest) or Providence are all a short drive.

We will be back. We loved this place.

We spent a long weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was the same choices each day but you could customize what you received. We had a fruit cup with the choice of about 7 fruits, omelets with about 10 different toppings, 3 bread choices, potatoes and a fresh baked item. We were not hungry again till late afternoon. Cookies were put out every afternoon. Room was very large with plenty of sitting areas. Loved the balcony. Bed was too soft for my tastes. Breakfast is served in stages so it is a leisurely meal. However, we had to leave early to catch our flight and she served us breakfast early.
