The room...the view...the people...every little detail! it just doesn't get any better than Stone Crest York! The PERFECT Sisters' weekend! We're already planning next year's retreat! GREAT PLACE!

It was my first stay at a B&B of any kind and I was quite impressed with it. After a short exit from I-83 the area quickly becomes open farmland. The building is hidden back away from noise and is in the middle of the forest. The front as a fire pit which can be lit to enjoy the view of the small pond and wildlife.
George and his staff are welcoming and gave great recommendations for places to eat in the local area. After a small tour we were left alone to enjoy ourselves. My only real gripe was that the fireplace in the room had been modified and couldn't use real wood to burn but was a push button light up for show deal. But it doesn't matter because outside there are various areas to sit and enjoy the peace and we managed to find a hammock nearby and soak up the afternoon. Also it isn't the right time of year for a fire anyways.
George gave us plenty of options for local food for evening dining. Breakfast was top notch with options different for each day. I recommend the steel cut oatmeal. Plus fresh cookies were out daily and the tasted great!
I would stay again but recommend booking far in advance to get a room. It is easy to see why it is booked up so much of the time.

George the host is very friendly, warm and courteous as is his staff. Plan to return. Had a wonderful tim. Facility is gorgeous. The staff is accommodating. Centrally located to many areas of interest.

Our children gave us a gift certificate for a weekend get away. It was our 30th anniversary. The beauty and peacefulness at Stone Crest will take your breath away. Being early risers we enjoyed the freedom as if we were home allowing us to take early morning walks. Your spirit is awaken as you walk around the property or just sit on the front porch and take in the fabulous view. The hospitality given by George and his staff was more then I would of ever expected and very much appreciated. Much effort is given to make your visit memorable. Breakfast was wonderful, truly one of George's gifts. The entire house was spotless, with the soft sound of music and fountains as you enter the atrium of this beautiful home. If you need to get away from the stress of life go to Stone Crest and renew your spirit. We are so thankful that our children chose Stone Crest.
