I stop here 2 or 3 times a year. Over the past three years Red Roof Inn Inc. has updated all their properties. This is no exception. The upgrades are nice and standard across the country. This is one of the few Red Roof Inns that I have stayed in that is always clean and smell-free. (I frequently travel with my cat and at Red Roof Inns pets stay free). However, over the past few years the area around this Red Roof Inn has grown. There is now a very large casino about a mile or two away as well as other tourist attractions. I think this Red Roof Inn gets more traffic than it did previously and it shows in the upkeep of the grounds as well as the mattresses and furnishings.
Positives: near restaurants and a mall; off route 84; inexpensive for what you get; very quiet once you are in the room - walls are thick. The folks at check-in are always efficient and friendly.
Negatives: like all Red Roof Inns there is no hair dryer and towels are thin. The room updates seem to not be holding up as well as they should be, parking lot can be crowded. The Inn is used a great deal by folks who are working construction jobs in the area.
