While in Pittsburgh on business I stayed 2 nights at the SpringHill Suites. The front desk staff were very friendly and were able to help with all my requests. The room was very spacious with a separate sitting area. Breakfast had a great variety including hot items and waffles.
Close to lots of shopping and restaurants.
I will make the SpringHill Suites my property of choice in Pittsburgh.

The place iss beautiful, so clean--the welcoming people at the front desk were awesome--so friendly. I wasn;t in my room 20 min. when I got a call to see what i needed. All i could really think of was maybe an extra packet of decaf. coffee....I hated to evven bother them for this---they were there with 4 packets and a big smile in 5 minutes!!! Breakfast included---good coffee, eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, fresh juices----what else could you want?? vERY NEW AND CLEAN. wanted to check out the hot tub--but forgot my bathing suit. looked clean and pool was beautiful.

I've stayed here several times and never really had any gripes about it. It is new, clean, and the price is affordable compared to some other chains. The rooms are a bit smallish for an All Suites type of hotel, but they aren't cramped. The kitchen area is a bit awkward to maneuver in, especially if you have the sleeper couch pulled out as the furniture in the sitting area needs re-arranged...the kitchen area is the only place to put it. The pool was clean as was the spa, and the workout room looked nice. Breakfast was good with a nice selection and plenty of room. The location is adjacent to a huge mega mall, so dining is close by, although only one locale offered delivery to the hotel (Smokey Bones). The staff is friendly and accommodating. You won't mix this place up with the Ritz Carleton, but for the price of the rooms I'd say it is a good value as long as you aren't looking for a high class and full service hotel.

The hotel had trouble finding my reservation made through Booking.Com. The desk clerk finally called booking.com after 10 minutes to get the necessary info. The rest of the stay was great - breakfast was only o.k., bed was not comfortable.
