I have stayed here twice in the past month, and I must say, I am very happy with this hotel. When the Best Western in Quakertown discontinued their cable TV service and began hiring some of the rudest, most offensive desk clerks in the know universe, I decided to try a new place. (In fairness, there are still some truly wonderful employees at the BW, but some are appallingly nasty and apparently hate everyone.)
The external doors and seemingly high rates at this Comfort Inn made me shy away from here, but I was in for a wonderful surprise. The king bed rooms were listed at $107 a night for the AAA rate, but both times I was given a rate of $89 just for asking! I was also upgraded to a COLOSSAL king suite both times for no extra charge. The front desk clerk, whose name was Angel, did all this for me. She has an appropriate name. In over 10 years of travel, I have never met a friendlier, more accomodating, or more efficient front desk clerk in ANY hotel. Give this woman an award!
The room was huge with a hot tub, kitchenette, 2 TVs (one a big plasma model), an electric fireplace, and very clean accomodations. There were tons of TV channels, including HBO. The internet WiFi and cell signal were very strong. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and new. No bugs, hairs, or stains anywhere, although I did find a spider the size of a small imported car in the bathroom once. Luckily, I happen to like spiders, so Mrs. Wolf Spider was gently but firmly escorted from the room in a plastic cup and deposited in the nearest shrub:-) Great heat, AC, water pressure, and hot water. The breakfast was very good for a free continental. Even the coffee was excellent! The room faced the highway, but I could not hear any cars at all, and there were no kooks or oddballs wandering about. In spite of the external corridors, I felt VERY safe here.
Stay here. You will like it! Ask for Angel!
