Four of us stayed at the Pineapple for two nights. We rented the front room area which consisted of sitting room, large washroom and a master bedroom. Privacy was not an issue with the washroom facilities having two doors. All rooms were large and well appointed. We were leaving very early on the second day so the hosts prepared our breakfast before hand and we were able to keep it in our refrigerator.
the refrigerator was noisy (probably just needing balancing); even though we were situated on the road side the blinds were strong enough to dim the lights to 0 and there really was no noise once midnight hit.
Breakfast was substantial but I would forget the Corn muffins, far too large and really not tasty whatsoever. Smaller and more variety of muffins would be better. The hosts acted on all our requests with friendliness and we can't complain. The one drawback, is the mattress on the bed chesterfield should be replaced - it was not that comfortable.
The cost is a bit high, even for the area considering what one receives however one or two nights does not break the bankbook. Also, we were very glad we took the main floor room; I would not want to be going up those steps to the other floors.
