My wife and i recently clebrated her birthday with an overnight stay at the Fox & Hound. Checkin was smooth and Michael greeted us and showed us the facilities, gave us some useful information and then then showed us to our room. the room was nice, not extravagant but very comfortable. We had a king bed and a sitting area with a gas fireplace that came in very handy as we had a very cold weekend. The room was very clean, a big plus to my wife. Kathy had recommended Marsha Brown's among other places for dinner & the place didn't disappoint. The restaurant is a converted church and the menu is creole, but had other choices as well. suffice to say we had a very nice meal and were thankful for the recommendation. after a good nights sleep we were treated to a great breakfast,. The highlight was Kathy's Peach French Toast Souffle'. It was just the kind of homemade comfort food that you hope for in a bed & breakfast.. Kathy was also nice enough to share the recipe with us. the only reason i didn't give 5 stars is because i've been in some other places that are more extravagant, of course they cost more to but i think you'll enjoy your time at the Fox & Hound. The people are very nice and you get a very good value for you money.

My wife surprised me wit an overnight stay here as part of a Christmas present. There midweek special make the value of the stay very high. The owner was very nice and gave us a brief tour upon our arrival. We honestly didn't spent too much time here since we went out on the town the the place was nice.

Breakfast was served the next morning in their dining area which was very cold, I must say, for my wife to want to hang out and relax in. However the food was good and there was always hot coffee and tea available.

There is an electric fireplace in the room and heater. The only thing I would mention is that the heater is too noisy to keep on while your sleeping but that's really the only suggestion I would have for this place. It's in a good location - a short drive to both the New Hope shops and Peddler's village for which we visited both.

I'd recommend Fox & Hound for your stay in New Hope. Place is cute & clean and very quick walk to the center of New Hope. Really great location.

This is a beautiful inn, immaculately kept. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The innkeepers are all very friendly and cannot do enough for their guests. It is almost like having your own concierge. They will give you recommendations and even make dinner reservations for you. It was very romantic and we had a great time.
