My and My wife decided a last minute trip to New Hope for a 6 month/ valentines day getaway. I looked at many of the B&B in the area and the Bowman's Hill seemed to be very beautiful and really cater to the needs of its guest. The place is amazing and the breakfast was nice and we had it served in room. We were offered a complimentary bottle of Champagne, it was OK! We also received a $50.00 gift certificate for dinner towards one of three local restaurants, as well as a discounted room rate for booking last minute. This B&B is not cheap and the only reason we decided on this one was because of the extras that were thrown in. Our room was very nice but much smaller then it looked in the picture and I think if i spent full price for that size room I would have been upset. The only other negative I can say is that we were kept up during the night from a strange dripping sound coming from above, also a loud motor noise that kicked on every couple hours. We are light sleepers so this bothered us more then it would others I think. I would come back but would stay in a different room perhaps on an upper level and when the price was right too!

I could have clicked on any number of reviews and agreed but our stay here was truly special and warranted a write up. Last January I proposed to my now wife in New Hope. It was a cold and bleak winter but the Inn at Bowman’s Hill exactly the right place to stay after popping the big question. The inn is luxuriously comfortable with all the amenities one could want. The inn keeper Michael was extremely helpful in organizing the little details to help make the night memorable. We can’t wait for our next visit.

This was our second trip to The Inn at Bowman's Inn. Bowman's is beyond Bed & Breakfast:
a seductive relaxing, restorative, and romantic experience. There becomes little desire to leave and explore the world beyond its beautiful, expansive grounds. The ambience so wonderful, the inn and its rooms so attractive and cozy. Special mention must be made of Tim, who manages the place: his humor, friendliness, and professional manner makes a visit that much more of a pleasure. Thank You Tim, for all that you do! Your soup and cookies are great, and we'll be back for a third visit! I can't get that crackling fire in the fireplace
and that fragrant smell of cedar out of my memory....I hope it never leaves.

We stayed here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary with a weekend getaway. Tim was friendly, professional and attentive. He greeted us as soon as we arrived with freshly baked cookies and delicious iced tea with mint-infused simple syrup. That was a good sign of amazing things to come. He also helped us make our first dinner reservation. The grounds are beautiful and we could go on and on as we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic escape.
