The hotel is in a decent area that is easy to miss at first. The room was large, the kitchen nice and the hardwood floors were a real plus. It is a great place for a one or two day stay; however, I would ask to be placed near people that are there for short stays as there are residents who appear to be unseemly and the rooms with the long-term guests have a strong smell of curry. Sorry, there is no hidden meaning here, just being honest.

The check in was a nightmare as the clerk was nowhere to be found. I do take exception to the way Maryanne handled our check in. When we arrived around 10:00 pm, there was a gentleman waiting at the counter. I asked had he been waiting long and he replied about seven minutes. Well, another ten minutes past and by this time there were four of us waiting to check in and a guest (already registered) waiting for assistance. We rang the counter buzzer twice and received no response.
When Maryanne finally appeared she stated “I did not know anyone was here, why didn’t you ring the buzzer?” the gentleman that had been waiting the longest replied “I did twice.” Maryanne’s response was along the lines of “Well I all alone at night” or something to that effect. In short, she has us waiting, she looked disinterested and frankly appeared to have just woke up. She showed no professionalism or remorse.

I wrote the general manager, named Chiusano, and apparently he is disinterested also, he never responded!

We booked this hotel at the last minute when our other hotel wouldn't take dogs. The front desk was very helpful, but the room and facilities were a disappointment. The elevator had food on the floor (which was still there the following morning. The hallways and elevator had a pervasive smell of smoke. The room was damp...in fact the carpet felt wet. The TV was small and offered no real channels. Overall it was we were very glad to not be having an "extended stay" here.

This is an older property and while it shows signs of age, it has been well maintained.

The chrome may be a bit worn off the sink drain, the paint worn from the light-switch screws, but everything was very clean and recently painted. It felt save for a budget motel.

Internet costs an additional $5 per day.

I had a bad feeling walking into the lobby that I noticed was dirty. The floors in the elevator were filty and the glass doors on all entrances,
The stairwells had not been swept for days/weeks with dirt and grass everywhere. The room needed updated. The curtains and bedspreads
and carpet was brown with plaid. The bed was the worst thing I ever tried to sleep on, hard as a brick. The refridgerator made loud crashing
noises all night long. This place was far from quiet with doors slaming all night. The kitchen countertops and refridgerator was never cleaned,
a black film was apparent. I should have read all the complaints and reviews before attempting to stay here, . It is apparent the manager is aware of these problems from ONE year ago, but they are not solved, it appears to be on going. New carpet, new beds, new decor would REALLY help
this place and upkeeping. From now on, I will be staying at the Hampton, Hyatt or Marriott.
