I took myself and 3 kids away over Xmas and was very disappointed in the overall quality. The dishwasher worked once while we there. The maintenance guy came twice to try and fix it. In the end was told they will need to get a technician in which didn't happen while we were still there. The breakfast buffet was ok. Except the day we went we were the only ones dining there and the chef made it quite clear he was not impressed about the lack of attendance. The pool area was very plain and quite cold and dreary. Not much sun due to it being between the two towers. Air cond was pretty Poor and vents into bedrooms were very weak. I complained about the dishwasher on check out and was offered a 10% off discount on my next visit. Would have preferred a discount on my current bill.

We stayed in Ultima Resort and enjoyed very much our extended stay.
The apartments are very spacious and modern. nice balcony quite huge. It was quite central to the Tweed shopping for groceries and about 5mins walk to the beach. It was central to shopping and restaurants and parking was easy, not on a busy road. Good value for money secured accommodation

We had visited the Coolangatta area 3 years ago & were shocked to find that the price of accomodation now was on par with the Gold Coast. The Tweed Ultima was suggested as a good family apartment at a reasonable price. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment facing Coolangatta beach on the 10th floor. First we were very happy with the large size of the apartment - the balcony was huge and the apartment had two bathrooms (although I have to say the water pressure of the shower in the main bathroom was very weak). The bedrooms were a good size and the laundry was so large that you could easily open the iron board in there. Kitchen was of a reasonable size with oven, microwave & dishwasher and of course the apartment was air conditioned. My children especially loved the pool and spa area.

You can walk to Coles/Woolworths, it is only 5-10 mins away. We could also easily walk to the beach at Coolangatta & this is a godsend when parking is at a premium in the busy summer months.

I would highly recommend the Tweed Ultima Apartments. Is is worth mentioning that if you are not fussed about having a view you can elect to have an apartment at a lower floor for a cheaper price.;

Great location, great apartment, great staff. We wanted an apartment as I was attending a conference and my partner would be holidaying so having a separate bedroom meant he would not be disturbed by my early rising. The kitchen facilities were fantastic and although we didn't cook in, we could make our own breakfast and lunch and keep our supplies in the fridge. The apartment was spacious, clean and had a lovely view over the Tweed River. Although reception was closed when we arrived late on a Sunday, our check-in was easy and very smooth. The cafe (Bambi) next to the apartments did fantastic coffee. It was a short stroll to the beachfront and also Coles/Woolworths. In all, can't fault Tweed Ultima.
