I have just returned home from an amazing holiday at Star of the Sea. My 7 girlfriends and I stayed for a week, and we were very reluctant to leave our beautiful apartment! The location, facilities and upkeep of the resort was fantastic, it really did feel like a home away from home. A huge thankyou to Bob and his staff for a wonderful visit, we will certainly be back again soon!

6 of us stayed here for a week in No6. Absolutely great water views. The suite was amazing. Really relaxing.
There is a nice pool, steam room, spa, games room etc.
A short walk to the beach and to good fishing spots? I would highly recommend this to anyone

Just returned from our second visit at this wonderful resort. We booked an ocean view apartment and the view was amazing. Whilst the furniture was a little 'tired' looking it was comfortable and functional. The units are a good size and offer a full kitchen although in our case it was not fully stocked with all the things you would expect however in fairness I did not complain about this till leaving and was very nicely informed that replacements would have been provided had they known. Some of the common areas are a little worn looking but I guess that's to be expected and I'm sure upgrades will take place. The coffee shop by the pool was not open everyday during our stay which was a little disappointing but given the awful summer we've had somewhat understandable.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again although may check when the room was last refurbished first.

Star of the sea is a fabulous place to stay. We stayed in peak season, yes it is premium price but the location,space and quality facilities make it worth while. We could fit 6 in our apartment which let's our whole family stay together.
One thing I loved is that it is even better than the photos on the website... I have been disappointed before but not this time.
We did have an iron not working and a few globes Out but the staff were very obliging and fixed pretty quickly.
Will definitely be back !!!
