“Worth Staying Again”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

Stayed here for a week on a Business trip and found it acceptable. Its nothing flash but is clean and comfortable. It could obviously do with a few improvements but was spacious and convenient enough for the amount of money it cost me.
Its a decent 10minute + walk to Terrigal Beach restaurants but is only a few 100 metres from the Terrigal Hotel Pub! It has a fantastic large Pool and hot spa. A bigger TV would be my only real gripe within room.
My biggest concern was that the Hotel was in a very poor reception area for Phone and internet use. The Hotel does offer a Wi-Fi service through an external agent but this is only through a credit card via your phone. I found their Pricing expensive and felt that it was an unsafe practise to do over the phone.

“NOT GOOD”

I recently Stayed at the Terrigal Pacific Motel. I have stayed there twice before and been very pleased with the motel, staff and facilities. This time however I found the motel in a sad state. The bathroom screens need cleaning and resealing. To provide hand soap instead of shampoo is not a good idea and just cheap. The floors need re polishing. The crockery, glasses and cutlery were like left overs from a garage sale. Nothing matched, no wine glasses were supplied. The milk in the pottles was disgusting. You need two for a cup of coffee. Powdered milk would have been better! Outside there is white stuff leaking from everywhere. I don't know what this white stuff is but it is disgusting. It is under all the balconies and needs to be removed. It actually drips on your head should you wish to sit at the table outside. Some of the tables supplied were rotten underneath and had not been cleaned since the last time I was there I am sure. There was only 2 chairs supplied on the balcony when the room is catered for 3. There are only two chairs inside for a 3 person room. One of the worst factors I noticed is they have removed the shade sail by the pool. The manager said they had no intention of putting a new one in which in Australia is just ludicrous and in a pool area just down right negligent. Oh and don't get me started on a gardener using a leaf blower at 9.30am just in time to ruin a good sleep in.. Unless these issues are rectified I will not be back there again nor recommending it to anyone I know.
I forgot to mention that the tv had FOXTEL on in when in actual fact didn't even get all the digital chanels. And having to pay for WIFI when you can get this facility free at a coffee shop is just a rip off!

“Dodgy furniture”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 April 2011

We Stayed in two bed apartment overlooking pool, arrived at night (11pm) and keys were left hanging at front door of reception as no one was there. Fortunately they must have heard us on arrival and came out to show us to our room which I am certain we would not have found because it is pitch black at night. First impression when we entered room was very under whelming. rinky dink furniture two couches that looked like they had been in a bachelor pad for a decade too long stains all over them, I was reluctant to let the kids sit on them. TV was tiny, the whole living area had tiled floor and was very sparse and not what I would expect for $ 340 night. The small kitchen was quite ok with fridge oven and dishwasher, Beds at least had clean sheets but I was not so sure about the bed covers being clean. In all the apartment and rooms lacked any warmth or comfort that I expect in a place charging these rates. We had friends staying in the normal rooms and they had same furniture but rooms seemed slightly better furnished but still way out dated. My wife and our friends were kept awake at night on two occasions by roudy parties at the motel. One good thing about the motel is the exterior garden and pool areas are kept in good condition. I have read some other reviews talking this place up but for the price we paid I expect a lot more than what they have. We would not stay there again, as there is a lot better value out there.

More like a resort, great managers, resort style pool, lovely grounds, short stroll to beach, lake & town.
A real gem on the Central Coast, would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

“This is not a motel!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2010

Despite stating that the motel is only five minutes from shops - it is a long, long five minutes. You will need them too, as this "motel" does not cater for breakfast, unless you call a paper bag of cereal and a slice of bread collected at the time of booking in and costing you extra. Don't leave until morning either. At 8.00pm reception closes and there appears to be no one on the premises. Security is an issue as the stairs and access to rooms are at the back of the building and are poorly lit. Judging by the security card stuffed into the office door, the buildings are checked sparodically through the night.
