We stayed in October 2011. We had to stay here as it was already getting dark and we needed a place to stay for the night. The owner was such a nice and welcoming guy but everything else can be simply described as terrible. Actually the guy cannot be that nice at all otherwise he would not offer such accommodation really.
The upstairs room we had was smelly, dark and had probably last been refurbished many years ago. There was this automatically room spray device to cover the smell. Nothing of the cheap interior matched, all was cobbled together. Brick walls, funny looking bed sheets, pink wall paint, garden furniture … You could hear neighbors snoring and going to the bathroom. Outside areas are carpeted. The property itself resembles a bedraggled parking garage. It felt completely wrong.
Everything in this madness was clean though (ignoring the smell); saw neither cockroaches nor anything else. We left at the crack of dawn.
