I don't won't to be to harsh on this motel. It was clean enough but the rooms were very small and cramped and the basin was in the main room. Very peculiar. For a queen and a single $105. The New Crown Hotel just down the road on the other hand though was great with very large meals for $15.

I stayed here as part of a large group booking for work. It's nothing fancy, but the units were very clean and well kept, and the service was so friendly and helpful. Nice fully enclosed grassy area with a small play equipment set, if you're travelling with children, also a small pool (which I unfortunately didn't have time to try, but it looked very inviting).

Yummy, well cooked breakfast. The air conditioner works well. Shower great in warm weather, I'd think the pressure would be a little low if you wanted a really hot shower as most of the flow comes from the cold tap.

Also one thing my colleagues commented on was how soundproof the rooms were - you couldn't hear a peep from next door!

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for others looking for a small, well kept place to stay in the country.

We stayed at the Bidgee Motor Inn on our way to Sydney, when we arrived we were greeted in the nicest possible way by Julie she went out of her way to help us with what we needed.
We then went to our room and believe me we have stayed in some motels but I have to say this is the most cleanest motel room I have come across and the shower pressure was amaizing. We had the best sleep the bed was so comfortable. We recieved our breakfast the next morning ON TIME and it was so Yummy and filling. When we were packing to leave even the cleaners said good morning to us. I recommend you stay at the Bidgee when passing through Hay because we will definatly be staying there again.

the pizza shop "wok in hay" across the road was awsome
