Our Recent holiday had my wife, daugter and i staying at the Nicholas royal Motel in Hay.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for us to set up a porta cot for our little girl. The owners of the nicholas Royal ,Andrew and Debbie were absolutly wonderful , friendly and only to glad to help out with local places of interest. The grassed area and play ground was a big hit with our little girl. Would loved to have jumped into the pool for a swim , but it was a little to cool for me.
All up the Nicholas royal Motel is a wonderful oasis in Hay The hospitality from Andrew and Debbie was top class. Wolud have no hesitation in recomending this motel to friends who will be passing through Hay or wanting somewhere to stay over night or a few days.

Not many Motels feel like being home.
Have stayed here a few times, always enjoy coming back.

The friendly couple running this motel made us feel very welcome after a long drive. With a children's playground, large parking area and well sited in the middle of Hay we would consider it suitable for most travellers. The room was sparkling clean and comfortable with nice country decor. This motel is within walking distance to a top bistro as well as shops and banks. The only complaint would be the size of the breakfast - phew! You certainly wouldn't want to eat for quite a while after that!

A great little motel with friendly and helpful staff.
Though the motel did not have a restaurant they recomended the eatery next door which provided me with an excelant meal.
My room was comfortable and spotless and provided me with a great nights rest after a long drive from the Barossa Valley.
The advert for the motel boasted that they provided a great cooked breakfast and this was no lie.
Once again Great Australian hospitality.
