“Better than one hopes for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 December 2011

Deniliquin does not rate as a major tourist destination despite the vaunted attractions of the October Ute Muster and Blue Singlet Challenge. But it is a delightful variation from the usual Canberra-Melbourne route and adds a new dimension to the experience of country Australia. The Coach House Motel was a bit of a pig in a poke but turned out to be good value for money, quiet although easy to find on a variation from the main thoroughfare through the town. Plenty of room and very clean but without frills. The restaurant/bistro attched is excellent and the steaks are among the best I have ever eaten. My wife declined the opportunity to eat anywhere else on our second night after she had tasted the food in the bistro.

Room Tip: All seem to be quiet

“Stay for the dining experience alone”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

I travelled out of my way to stay here based on reports from tripadvisor.

The motel. Its no 5 star, probably about 3 but is clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. The overnight cost was 1/4 of that I normally experience and for that price was amazingly good. Would I stay if my wife was with me, Mrs fussy, yes I would, so that is endorsing the product.

The dining. They told me no need to book, wrong answer. I arrived at 6.00pm
to eat and then sleep for early departure. It was booked out!!!!

The manager took pity on me and set me up on a table in the bar and the steak was to die for. It was the most tender, tasty porterhouse I have devoured in years, and yes we eat out at least twice a week and nothing has come near to this.

I tried the taylors sauce topping and would probably go for a sharper flavour on our next visit.

“Super Quiet, Huge Rooms, Friendly Staff, Excellent Food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 May 2011

Stayed here as an overnighter for $84 due to a good review on Trip Advisor and was rewarded with a great nights sleep in a huge room with 2 queen beds in it, off the Highway and super quiet. The Staff are fantastic, helpful, friendly and courteous. The Restaurant has superb meals and the Taylors sauce with your meal is simply fantastic. We cannot recommend the Motel highly enough. There is even a Honeymoon suite and though we did not see inside, going on the charm and quality of our Room No 6, it would be sumptuous indeed.

Room Tip: Room 6 is superb but all rooms are quiet.

“Best accom in Deni!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 April 2011

It's my 5th stay and I must say it's my fave spot in Deni. I've stayed in different rooms each visit, all have had atleast a queen bed. Some rooms I'd say are 'tight' in regards to having enough room to walk around the bed, get to the desk etc but it's been manageable. All rooms so far have had renovated bathrooms. The water pressure in this place is sensational.

Earlier comments about the laneway need not to comment on, I've stayed in rooms backing the laneway and you can't hear a thing.

You can charge back the meals from the bar to the rooms (great for fellow reps) and the steaks in this place are fantastic, matching the breaky creek for those Brisbane visitors).

Im currently booked into a twin queen room and it's spacious enough. The room has a small bathroom, coffee/tea facilities and a flat screen tv. Free wifi is available and the swimming pool would be inviting if it wasn't 5 degrees outside. Thank god for the fantastic heater in the room!
