Coonabarabran is a common top off point if driving from Melbourne to Queensland but never will my family stay in Coonabarabran again.

The hotel was on the main street, usually not such a big deal but there are CONSTANT fruitpicking trucks going past the hotel ALL NIGHT.

The curtain was a sheet nailed to the roof, the room had an awlful smell which could not be escaped even with the door open.

The bathroom (down the hall) was beyond digusting and even my boyfriend refused to use the guys bathroom.

There were spiders and cobwebs in each corner of the room.

I could go on and on! It was only because we were so late in the night, tired from driving, and were obviously not going to be able to get our money bak (cash upfront) I would have walked traight back out.

I can not express enough my hatred for this hotel. Instead...sleep in your car!
