I loved my staty at Azabu .
so perfectly placed just far enough out of town ( lets face it , Byron Bay is unfortunatley not the sleepy little place she used to be , and staying right in town is a gamble with traffic , crowds and schoolies ) , but Azabu positions you in complete soitude while only a 5 minute drive to acess the best of the beaches / restaraunts and shopping ) .
The staff were wonderful , genuinley attentinve and friendly , not forced hospitality or wearing any service type fakeness , but honestly lovely and enjoying the company of their guests without being in your face. That type and quality of hospitality is rare these days .
The rooms are a Studio room . ( It states that very clearly on the website ) . But they are really well designed , great layout, funky stylish and comfortable. Sitting in a sunken bath with someone special staring out into the forrest on a rainly day is just as wonderful as sitting on the beach in the sunshine .
I did have some hesitation after reading some reviews about noise between rooms.
I must say I was quite supprised in the morning when we wandered up for breakfast by the pool , to see 4 other couples ( the place only has 5 rooms ) also having breakfast . We were completely oblivious to anyone else staying in the place and had not heard a thing !?
I have spent a lot of time in Byron Bay. Azabu is now definatley on my favorites list of places to stay , and i must also add that the breakfast at Azabu - IS the best breakfast in Byron Bay without a doubt.
To all the staff , thankyou for making our stay so lovely and wonderful.
See you again soon .
