“Very relaxing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

We really enjoyed our stay here. Casual, relaxed place with friendly staff. The pool area is very pleasant and uncrowded. Enjoyed being able to walk to Tallow Beach for early morning walks.Very comfortable bed in our unit which is always good when you are away.

“Could of been better”

We stayed four nights at Oasis. The Resort is situated in beautiful surrounds close to a National Park and Beach. The facilities are wonderful Pool, Tennis Court, Games Room and outdoor BBQ. Staff are welcoming and friendly. I chose Oasis Resort after the good reviews posted on Trip Advisor but will admit being a little disappointed when entering our unit No. 24. This unit is in serious need of some TLC, although the beds were comfortable just about everything else in this unit is past its use by date. We enjoyed our time in Byron Bay and would not hesitate to book accomodation again at the Oasis but hopefully some maintenance would have been done in the interim.

“Awesome stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

Needing a break? this is the place to stay. Beautiful, clean surroundings with the views and sounds of the ocean. My sons loved the pool, spa and sauna as well as the tennis court(although we found out quick enough that we couldn't play but it was fun all the same) The staff were friendly and more than helpful before we even arrived and extended the amazing service right through our stay. We are already planning our return stay

Room Tip: The treetop houses are stunning

“A whale of a time in Byron!”

We stayed here with friends for a week in early September and made ourselves at home very quickly in comfy apartment 6. With friends and local family visiting us each day, we all really enjoyed the pool, spa and the sauna. The added bonus of the picnic basket allowed us to cook on the BBQ and eat lunch in the sun by the pool - the apartments face east and enjoy morning sun but the pool has sun until it dips behind the palms late in the day. It's in a quiet location out of town but just a short walk from the beach - perfect for your daily walk.

We were blessed with perfect spring weather. We did the big walk up to the lighthouse a few times and were well rewarded with lots of whales migrating south, or perhaps going back north for a bit to show-off along the beach. Also witnessed the delightful surfing dolphins who were having so much fun. All this marine life brings out the good humour in everyone and we met so many delightful backpackers and grey nomads from all over the world. Thanks must go to the kindly Germans with the huge lens that showed my young nephew the beauty of the whales, a lot better than our eyesight could manage.

Back at the Oasis, a reno job was going on upstairs and they kindly held off work and noise until after 9am. We were up anyway, swimming in the pool. This is a great place to stay.

“Fantastic Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

The Oasis Resort is the perfect choice for a relaxing getaway. Upon arrival we could not have felt more welcomed by the friendly staff, who were always there to answer our questions and give advice on great areas to visit during our stay. The facilities at the resort were of a high standard and kept us entertained. We loved relaxing in the spa and sauna. A fun time was had by us all, would not hesitate in recommending the resort and I am sure we will be back in the not to distant future.
