We had booked the Mignon Falls walk in May paid for by credit card. 2 Days before we arrived we were informed, that the "car is broken" and the trip was cancelled. We asked for any alternative walks or ideas: not even a reply! It took more than 3 weeks (and three emails) to finally get the money refunded. Very disappointing service.
So when we stayed in Byron Bay we made the walk by ourselves.
First we had more fun and we saved ~$200. The direction and path is easy to find and well indicated. By the way: there was no park-fee to be paid (which of course was part of the packet-price from Eco Tours)
So my recommendation is: save the money and do the walk yourself.
The attraction is 4=very good, Eco Tours is 0=not existing.

if you want to know what goes on after dark,wendy is the girl to see, she is a wealth of knowledge about local and worldly affairs ,a must do an see before you leave this planet ,hot choclate and byron bay cookies by the water fall was ace cheers wendy and vision walks

Wendy picked my girlfriend and I up from our hostel and took us on a night walk which was amazing. We saw frogs, snakes, possum freshwater crayfish and more. She really knew her facts and I could tell she was very passionate about the animals. The night vision goggles were the highlight of our trip.

The best part of the walks we took was the newfound appreciation for the natural world that I was left with.

We went on the Minyon Falls Rainforest Walk and the Night Vision walk. Both were absolutely amazing. The Rainforest walk was stunningly beautiful, and the Night Vision walk was very exciting (even though we only saw a few animal).

Both walks were incredably interesting and informative thanks to our guide Wendy. Her passion for the area is obvious.

If you're going on a trip to Byron Bay you CAN NOT miss this unique experience.
