The Guest house itself is absolutely amazing, very tastefully decorated with a fantastic deck, we felt spoilt with the range and quality of the facilities available. The downside for us was the lack of friendliness from the older receptionist, she didn't inform us of the facilities available and treat us like a hinderous rather than a guest. On the other hand the younger receptionist was very friendly she was a pleasure to have around, especially with her bubbly personality in the morning, she also informed us about Wifi, Internet and range of DVD's on offer. Apart from this we had a great stay and Atlantic Byron Bay is a fantastic choice and reflects to modern image that is Byron Bay.

Fantastic accomodation, very clean with comfy beds. Great location, would definitely recommend this place if you're staying in Byron Bay.

I would recommend anyone traveling to Byron Bay to stop in at Atlantic. It is in a great spot that is only a 2 minute walk to the main part of town or main beach, yet is quiet and secluded. We stayed 5 nights mid week in November 2011 and loved it. The rooms and the property are tastefully decorated and the garden and deck all create an overall relaxing laid-back Byron Bay atmosphere. We felt comfortable as soon as we arrived.

I stayed with my partner in a premium ensuite room, the rooms are clean and bright with comfy king size beds and Foxtel. Only thing to disappoint me was not enough space to hang your clothes. We also had a private deck as well as a communal deck at the main entry. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room as well as a bar fridge but that’s about it. We had access to the communal barbeque area on our main deck and access to a shared kitchen, which is shared with the whole property. The hotel also allows you the watch DVDs from their collection that was a plus as there are only limited Foxtel channels.

The location is great, close to everything. We had a very pleasant stay, highly recommend it to others and would definitely stop in again.

The premium room in the Driftwood property felt spacious enough and airy, all white. Pity there is not enough space to hang your clothes nor is there a chair in the room. Never mind, we made it work for the time of our stay.

You could hear every single word from the neighbors plus loud TV noise. Who goes to Byron Bay to watch TV? Some people are ignorant towards others and strongly believe they are the only ones in the world and watch TV at 5.30 am. I was wondering whether these are the people who at the same time read books about inner enlightening and feel all grand and in peace with their surroundings. That is not the owners fault.

The room only gets made up on request. That leaves the guest like asking for a special treat, it should be a given. Not a too big issue though.

The location is great, close to everything. We had a very pleasant stay, highly recommend it to others and would go again without a doubt. Next to tiny Lizards and tiny frogs we often met a huge Water Dragon on the premises, how cool is that?
