I stayed at "The Barn", Riley's self-contained cottage with a group of 4 people. Hayley and Mark are very nice hosts, giving us lots of recommendations on where to go in Avoca, particularly helpful with dinner recommendations. "The Barn" is a lovely cottage, with a downstairs lounge, kitchen, bathroom and queen room. The top mezzanine level has two single beds, a couch and a table soccer game. The beds were quite comfortable, but we found downstairs to be a little cold - and couldn't figure out how the heater worked - tried turning it on but it wouldn't quite work. Problem was easily rectified with the numerous extra blankets provided. Overall, Riley's is a great place to stay - it's not close to the beach, but it is lovely in its own right.
