We had a fantastic stay at Susie's beautiful home. It is a warm and welcoming place and only a stone's throw away from the cliffs and the beach. But it wasn't just the house that did it; Susie is a wonderful woman and a fabulous host who did everything she could to keep us happy! We love you Susie and we'd love to come back one day! We have just returned from spending a week at Susie's Halftides Cottage, which was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Susie was very welcoming and gave us plenty of ideas for special places to visit and eat. The cream tea on arrival was especially welcome! The cottage is wonderfully peaceful and we loved the fact that it was away from the bustle of everyday life down a quiet lane. Our son particularly enjoyed the quiet beach reached down a private footpath, and we visited the cove on most days either to play in the sea, body-board or have a beach barbeque. We would have no hesitation in recommending Halftides.

This is such a beautiful cottage with very pretty furnishings,decor and lovely views.We specially liked the cornish cream tea set out for us on the table.Susie our hostess was absolutely charming with nothing too much trouble we even borrowed the hosepipe to rinse our dog Buffy who absolutely loved the sandy beaches nearby particularly Polurrian just a 5 min walk.There is a little space just outside the cottage to have breakfast with a pretty metal table and chairs then opposite Halftides there was our own large private garden and summerhouse with spectacular views of the coast.The whole area is wonderful with walks along the S.W.Coastal path straight from the cottage.A magical place to stay.
