“What a delightful hotel!”

After 4 hectic days in London, nothing could be better for the soul than a weekend at the Spa Hotel in Mevagissey. Our room was beautifully appointed and definitely had the best shower of our entire stay in England. We loved our little "private patio" and enjoyed having drinks on the terrace with gorgeous views to the sea. Phil, Margaret and Laura really went above and beyond to make everything about our stay comfortable, I just can't say enough nice things about them. If you're looking for something convenient to the village yet quiet and just away from the hubbub of the harbour, this is your spot. Cannot recommend it enough.

“Very Pleasant Stay at the Spa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2009

We stayed for three nights at the Spa Hotel. We found the hotel a very pleasant place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great view across to the coast and Portmellon. The yellow coloured bathroom suite looked a little dated but everything worked properly and was clean so no problem. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, the full English was cooked perfectly. We liked the lounge area which was light and airy, and we enjoyed a pleasant hour or two just sitting there reading on one rainy morning. We didn't use the garden but it looked lovely for sitting in and relaxing on nice days. We felt the price we paid for our three nights was reasonable value. The town centre/harbour area is easily within walking distance from the hotel if you are reasonably fit - it took us about 10-15 minutes at an easy pace. Be aware of the steep hill coming back from town though if you are unfit. The on site parking was a good plus point - other places we looked at in Mevagissey didn't have this. Our car stayed parked up for the whole time of our stay - on the first day we explored Mevagissey and Portmellon on foot and on the second day we walked to Heligan and found the Lost Gardens. In summary we enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return to the Spa Hotel again in the future.

“A Relaxing & Peaceful Holiday”

From beginning to end, our holiday at The spa Hotel in Mevagissey was a pleasure. The room was clean and bright with beautiful sea and coastal views. The public areas were very comfortable with a wonderful breakfast being served in the dining room. From the bar there is a fabulous outlook over the gardens and terrace. The staff that served us were all very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The location was perfect being within walking distance of the beautiful harbour town of Mevagissey and Portmellon Cove but being far enough out for peace and quiet, and was ideally situated for visiting lots of attractions in the area.

“Fantastic Venue for our Wedding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2008

The Spa Hotel proved to be a gem for holding our wedding party, with it's large private garden and terrace area, our guests had plenty of space to mingle. A marquee was erected for us in the garden as well as providing extra bars they also brought in our favourite beer. The staff were excellent and catered for our every needs. All my family and friends that stayed overnight really enjoyed their stay. The views from the hotel are lovely, looking over Chapel Point and across to Portmellon hillside. We had a fantastic time here and would recommend it to anyone.
