“Awesome place - 40th Birthday Party Venue!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

We hosted my 40th birthday party here last night - it was amazing! Pippa and James were just astonishingly helpful - they helped us to plan the night down to the last detail and nothing was too much trouble for them. Having planned it so well, I didn't think I could be surprised - but I was! The food that James provided was completely out of this world - it has to be the best party food I've ever eaten - the staff were incredibly friendly - and all joined in the fancy dress 80s theme!! Pippa worked tirelessly all night to make sure that everyone was supplied with drinks and glow-sticks and the DJ she'd arranged for us was awesome!

I can't recommend this place highly enough - professional, personal service +++. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic (I've never had a three course breakfast before!) and the staff were astonishing. Thank you, Pippa and James - we loved every minute of it, and you guys made it a very special night.

Room Tip: We looked in every room - they were all beautiful! We stayed in one of two family rooms, it was grea...

“Lovely views and great breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2011

We (two couples) stayed at the Blue Bay B&B for two nights at the end of May. The views from that place are fantastic and the breakfast was perfect (also suitable for Vegetarians). The weather was not very nice during our stay but we still enjoyed the individiually decorated rooms and the hospitality of Pippa and her family. Great place to relax!

“Superb break in Surfriders lodge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2011

Me and 5 other mates stayed here for a weekend. Only bad thing was the weather.

The lodge itself is great, spacey, comfortable and great views of the lovely town of mawgan porth. Flat screen tv and Dvd in lounge. There are 3 bedrooms. A double, twin and a room with 4 single beds so sleeps 8. Theres one shower and 2 toilets.

All the utensils etc are there. Loads of complimentary tea and coffee. Big fridge freezer nice dining area.

James the owner is great, efficient and when we had a problem he sorted it quickly with no problems,

Cant comment on hotel as never went in there but ive heard its good and food is good too.

Will definatley stay here again, very good price and we really enjoyed our stay.

“Surf Riders”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 June 2011

We stayed at the lodge called Surf Riders. Fantastic location, literally a five minute walk to the pub/shops/beach. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the lodge was immaculately clean. Free parking and free WiFi were a bonus!

Only problem we had was that the cooker took a long while to heat up.

I would recommend this lodge to anyone.
