We are staying in Boscastle for a short break, (not at the Cobweb) went to the Cobweb tonight for dinner, the bar was quiet but friendly with a warm welcome from the staff, ordered 2 rump steaks one rare and one medium, they were both perfectly cooked and piping hot, chips were the the best Ive ever had, hot crispy and tasty, petit pois, onion rings, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and side salad completed the huge plate of delicious food. an excellent hearty and filing meal coming to just £44 for 2 of us with 2 drinks each. A great pub meal, cant recommend it enough, in fact so good we are going back tomorrow to sample one of their daily specials!

fab welcome and great service. food excelent for a hearty meal post walk. its not rossette but does not pretend to be.... its great local pub food! rib eye steak was awesome... well sourced and cooked to perfection (rare). the missus had gammon and it did not come up short on size and taste. good sourcing shining through. if any gripe it would be the frozen chips but they do a lot of covers, so id imagine hand cooked chips may prove a big step.
overall great though.... will be back again
