We got a family room here for 4 nights for £194 when we decided to stay over in London for a few nights on our way back from a holiday to the USA. This hotel is located immediately beside Wembley Park tube station which is on the Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines and has disabled lift access to all areas. It is also located within a stone's throw of Wembley Stadium and Arena and we had a fab view of the Stadium from our window, which my football mad 12 year old loved. We were in a family room which all seem to be located at either end of the building so if booking one ask for one with a stadium view it's worth it.
Our room was huge and very clean and comfortable. It had a huge king size bed (well it was bigger than king size probably more like 6 feet across), it had two pull out single beds underneath which could have been put together to make another double and a single bed which niftily converted using the availalbe cushions into a sofa. Lots of pillows, with a choice of soft or firm, plenty of tea and coffee making bits and bobs in the room, the best hotel hair dryer I've found in a long time and a lovely big bathroom which was immaculate and had hand washing liquid and shower gel provided.
The lighting in the room was really subtle and made the room feel very cosy. There was plenty of space to hang or store folded clothes, lots of lovely soft towels, great choice of TV channels. A pay per use phone in the room was a good touch which you swipe your card through and also free 30mins wi fi per day which is OK to quickly check emails or if you prefer you can buy a day's worth of in room wifi for £3. There is a pay per use computer in the vestibule area if you choose. There are lots of vending machines and a great restaurant and bar on site which offer amongst other things pizza room service to 3am and all you can eat breakfast which was very good.
We had a domino pizza delivered to the hotel and there are fast food places really close by including MacDonalds and a fried chicken place and also a supermarket just across the road. A few minutes walk would get you into Wembley Central for a greater choice of restaurants etc.
We took the Jubilee into Bond Street direct and it took around 20 minutes and we also took the metropolitan into Kings Cross which took the same time. Perfect location to take the metropolitan into Baker Street direct for things like Madame Tussauds or to get into Oxford Street or down to the Westminster Embankment for a walk around taking in Buckingham Palace, Whitehall, Downing st, Westminster Abbey and the houses of Parlliament or across Westminster Bridge for the London Eye, all just one direct train ride from next to the hotel.
A great location and a very comfy clean hotel at a bargain price, far better room to any London hotel I've ever stayed in before, it might be a budget line but I'd rather take this huge, value room any day than an over priced dingy city room at a more 'reputable' hotel. When in London i usually stay at Thistle Hotels but won't anymore, this will be my hotel of choice from now on regardless of my budget.
If you are visiting to attend events at Wembley arena or stadium this hotel is literally on the doorstep and I'd advise staying an extra night and doing a bit of sight seeing or shopping in the capital. Staff are really frienly too. Highly recommended.
Oh and A/C and heating were silent but super efficient and there is a cash machine in the lobby too and also a phone charging coin operated system in case you, like us, forget your charger.
Room Tip: We were on the 4th floor in a family room which was HUGE and very comfortable and we were at the end...
