myself, friends and relatives stayed for 1 night . all our rooms were warm clean and comfortable. the staff were all friendly especially the landlord, his father and his mum. the breakfast was plentiful and a very friendly affair with plenty of laughter about the night before. the en suite bathroom was clean with plenty of clean towels and products...all in all a pleasant stay.

Was greeted by a warm and friendly smile. Bar person took our case and showed us to our room. They checked to make sure that we had every thing. ie, refreshements, towels and toiletries. The room was warm and inviting. Although staff where busy with a big function, the made sure the still had time for myself and my husband. Staff made our stay very enjoyable and we will most certainly be returning. They were very helpful, they told us of places of interest that we may like to visit and couldnt help us enough. The Sunday carvery was wonderful. Thank you to everybody at the Ye Olde Star Inn

We stayed at this hotel??? for a family wedding.The staff were disinterested, had no customer service skills and no ability to deal with any of room problems.
Our rooms were dirty, there was no hot water pressure, no toilet rolls or soap and broken tiles on the floors and walls.My Daughter found cigarette butts on her bedroom floor whilst trying to catch a spider.We would never ever stay at this hotel again, even if the rooms were free.

The food was the worst we had ever had!! and too mention the bar this was a complete joke, their was hardly any choice of drinks and then they tell us they dont have no ice so warm drinks too!! i would not recommend that anyone visits this place it was just awful, the food was actually hardly edible.
