“Professional & Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

Spanish Ya was a great experience and my only regret is not having booked more time. The teachers are professional, friendly and fun. The curriculum is personalized with just the right amount of structured grammar and conversational support. Yajaira, the owner, is an energentic entrepreneur, justifiably proud of her creation working hard every day to ensure students have a positive and productive experience. Morning classes that leave your afternoons free are the best option. The school offers some excursions during the week, including horseback riding, surfing and zip-lines that are cheap and well organized. I've attended other Spanish schools in Latin America and Spanish Ya was the best of them all.

“Exceptional”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

Excellent outdoor classes with very friendly and warm teachers. And I learned so much about the culture of Nicaragua and the history of San Juan Del Sur. Learning a second language is not easy for me, and the teachers made it fun and really helped me improve. I can't wait to return this summer.

“mucho mejor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2011

Don´t know what to write except the school is great. good teachers. good location (it´s nice to zone out on the breaks and stare at the river). Wish I would have studied a little more out of class, but after 4 hours in class its hard to. I have done other 4 hour a day classes, and I did not learn as much as i learned here.

They don´t seem to have a set curriculim. They don´t have a book that everyone uses, becuase eveyone learns in different ways. Also, everyone comes to the school talking at different levels of Spanish. My teacher would listen to me talk and decide where to go from there.

I didnt live on campus, but i heard that´s a good deal.
