Traveling with a family of 6 we typically need 2 hotel rooms so we gave this property a shot. While making the reservation we were informed that the office was only open until 6pm. I guess this is because the units are run more like rentals then a hotel or motel. No big deal we were there by 5pm. The unit was rather spacious; 2 separate bedrooms and a sleeper sofa more than accomodated us perfectly. The one bed is a sofa bed so make sure one of the kids sleeps there since the mattress is pretty thin. Nice granite in the kitchen. Just wish it had a second bathroom and a free breakfast. Oh well, we made due and saved about $200 since most places in Hershey were charging at least $189 per night.

Real nice 2 bedroom unit. Kitchen and living room. Lots of space. Kitchen not real well stocked, but who wants to cook a lot any way. Call before arriving(a few days), they have limited office hours.

Some friends and I rented one of the villas located in a nice quiet neighborhood. I'll start off by saying that the place was clean and spacious and had the feel of someone's home. So much so that I was worried that someone was going to walk in and ask us what we were doing in their house. But back to reality. We got to the villa, got the key out from under the mat and went in. The A/C wasn't on so we turned it on expecting to at least get some cool air flowing. Yeah right! It was in the 90s outside and very humid and close to 100 degrees inside of this place. Even with all the windows open it wasn't any better. I was warned beforehand that there is no one available after hours and I would have to call and leave a message. I did just that . Please note that the answering machine said that the office opened at 8am on Saturday. I didn't get a response Saturday morning so I went to the office and the travel agency that the registration desk is located in doesn't open till 10 am. I came back at 10 and the lady that works for the travel agency told me that they won't be in today and that housekeeping MIGHT be in. She was very helpful and took a message and IF they show up, she will let them know my situation. I didn't get a response until 10 am MONDAY and they pretty much told me that my friends and I were incompetent and all we had to do was turn the thermostat on... As you saw earlier in my review we did just that. Our only saving grace was hurricane Hannah since the rain dropped the temperature outside to the 70s. We still had to leave the windows open and all that lovely rain came pouring inside. The Cocoa Flats website is VERY misleading and if the owner actually cared about the people that are paying him/her then it would be a nice place.

This place should be closed down. It was awful! We would have left in a minute if we could have received our money back. Now I know why they charge you in advance!

My review would be the same as the review a few days ago. I think we stayed in the same unit because the bed was still held up by the pot! I complained to a nice man at the desk and he seemed so shocked at what I told him about the room. He must have been a great actor because he must have heard all this before!

The rooms seemed like an old college apartment you just moved into. No pictures or curtains, nasty bed linens, etc. The top bed on the trundle had a mattress that was too short and my daughter fell on the wood and got a splinter. The place smelled so bad when we arrived and the girl at the desk said that the cleaning crew smokes in there even though it's non smoking.

Gross, disgusting, don't stay here!!!
