My husband and I had made plans to celebrate our 24th wedding aniversary with a relaxing overnight stay at a hotel. When we got there the doors were propped open and the lobby was very warm. We checked in and had gotten a king suite with hot tub. When we walked in the room it smelled musty and the bedding was stained. We were so looking forward to this stay and we were so disappointed I was ready to just go back home. We had read on the website that they had first movies to find out they only had cable. Luckly we found a beautiful suite at a nearby hotel and could not have asked for a nicer room. Our anniversary was saved.

Friendly, accomodating front desk staff even with a guest like me. My schedule is variable and usually involves nights (computer installs/POS work); thus some flexibility on the staff is helpful. Room is fine, I stay in one with a refrigerator & non-smoking. Bed is clean and comfy, TV is an older model but fairly large: has all the sports channels and 2 movie ones. USA today paper to read while eating your continental breakfast (limited). Has a PC in the lobby with a printer for stuff. Wireless in the room is 1.2MB down... nice for a hotel !

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn from 6/28/11-6/30/11. The room my family was in was absolutely disgusting. There were burn holes all over the comforters, it smelled worse than a bar, the carpeting was so filthy we would not remove our shoes, the bathtub was peeling, there were holes in the walls, the toilet handle was broken, the air conditioner did not work, and aside from all of the other issues, what topped it off was when we removed the bedding from the bed we were sleeping in we discovered and extremely large spot of urine/blood on the mattress. At that point we held fitted quilted sheet up and realized that the urine/blood had soaked through and we were actually sleeping on it. We hadn't noticed earlier because it was at the lower half of the bed whech was covered with the comforter. So, either the stain was fresh (never cleaned) and it soaked through the fitted sheet, or the fitted sheet was never changed. This room is very unsanitary! We contacted the front desk with the issue and they informed us that the owner would be in to take a look and then would contact us. A month later and I have never been contacted. This hotel is in desperate need of repair. The swimming pool area was also disgusting. The website is very misleading.

Stayed here for one night on the way to Grove City for shopping with 3 friends. Knowing that it was a budget friendly place we didn't expect much. The room was pretty dingy and the beds had a lot of cigarette burn marks. It was relatively clean, though I was worried about bed bugs (luckily we didn't have any problems!) We arrived late on a Friday night. Unfortunately there is no bar in the hotel so we ventured next door to the Quality Inn (which looked like a mansion in comparison) for drinks. They serve cheap beers and depending on the night they have various live performers. We survived an uneventful night in our room at the Red Roof. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also served a small breakfast with bagels, pancakes and coffee/tea in the main lobby but it finishes early, 10am or 9:30 if I recall correctly. There is also free wifi available in all the rooms. All in all, you get
what you pay for! I doubt I would
return, but I guess it could have been worse!
