clean and close hotel to philly airport. nice breakfast bar . the front desk staff is kind and helpful. elevator is a little slow and small. there is a patio in the back that looks out over the delaware river. it should look nice on a warm day.

The hotel is about 3 miles from the airport but in an odd area for hotel. No other hotels nearby and fairly close to a residential area. The area is okay but again you wouldn't expect a hotel
the hotel seems older but has been partially rennovated (Carpets and certain other amenities). But thigs like some of the furniture and the doors and door jams look really old.
The bed was comfortable but the TV was an older flat screen that was really slow ti change channels. The bedding was newish and had no real issues. Considering its location I would most likelyonly stay here again if I had an eaerly morning flight.
Price wise the hotel was about $150 for the night plus taxes. I ended up booking the hotel the same eveningI checked in because I got stuck and needed a hotel so I am note sure what the cost would be if I booked it a week or two ahead of time.
Freindly staff. Shuttle to and from airport. Nice restaurant next door.
Better than friendly staff from the phone call to the front desk to the hallways & breakfast area. Very comfortable bed in immaculate room including bathroom. Plenty of room & decorated like Pottery Barn. Woke up to an incredible view of the river. Can't believe I was just south of the airport. No airport noise. Easy to get to- right off 95. Cozy lobby with fireplace. Did I mention the delicious breakfast with everything good & hot. The Deck next door is amazing with all the outside deck area- great food too. Better than any Holiday Inn I've ever stayed in. Put this on your list even if you're not flying out of PHL.
Got stuck in Philly overnight because of airline screwup. Airline offered small discount rates at other hotels but the reviews on them were awful. I took a leap and booked with Holiday Inn Express because of past good experiences. Not disappointed. Room was impeccable, newly decorated, great flat screen tv. Used AAA discount for $125 rate.
Free breakfast was excellent and desk staff was helpful and friendly. Shuttle from and to airport was quick.
Only drawback of this hotel are the food choices. Nearby bar and grill is mediocre. Lots of liquor and fried stuff.
