This is clearly an old school B&B: nice property, beautiful atmosphere, caring hosts, lots of support for what to do and see in the area. In the middle of Amish country, hence a lot to do and see in this respect. Rooms were big and nicely decorated, so was the whole place. Lots of common room to use including a nice garden. Very good breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Excellent sleep despite on the main road. Quite close to downtown which is just a few minutes footwalk away. Very good parking in the back. All in all: Highly recommenda-ble, and a real value for money.

Room tip: no specific recommendation

We are not usually big fans of B&B's, but this is the exception. We immediately felt at home and welcome. Sometimes these small inns can be a bit pretentious and formal, but not this one. Beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.

There was no pool or fitness center so sorry about that review. This place is wonderful and the owners have done a remarkable job making this a very comfortable, quaint inn. It is cozy and has impeccable service and great breakfasts. This was our 2nd stay here and we'd never consider staying anywhere else if in this area. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you.

Room tip: Each room is different. Some bathrooms are bigger in certain rooms but all are adequate. The rooms toward the back of the building are quieter but noise wasn't that big of an issue. Some rooms are also bigger so if you're planning on being there for more than one day, you might want to choose one of the bigger rooms. Corner suites have plenty of sunshine.

The 1777 Americana Inn B & B is an oasis of beauty and peace. It served as a great rest stop on a whirlwind weekend tour of Amish Country. The proprietors could not have been nicer--suggesting a great place to eat nearby, and making sure that our room was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and far more than anticipated. We would highly recommend the 1777 Americana Inn B & B if you're looking for a great place to stay in Amish Country.

This Bed and Breakfast has the general look of a colonial-style inn, but the rooms have more electronic equipment than most modern hotel rooms. The A-C is quite adequate, and there are flat screen TVs, DVD players, as well as DVDs you can borrow, along with rapid wi-fi which is also complimentary.
My room was charming, bright and airy, with a bathroom almost as large as the bedroom. You have your choice of shower, tub bath or Jacuzzi bathing. The hosts, Denise and Bob, were very gracious and personable. Denise makes an excellent hot breakfast for your enjoyment. Bob is building a Brew Pub in the back yard with beer tastings planned. I look forward to my next stay there.
