We were very pleased with our stay at the Wayside Inn in Cannon Beach. So close to beach access and Mo's. Great views of the Ocean! We were most impressed with the excellent customer service and the thoughtful doggie welcome basket they provided. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Each of our two dogs received a welcome basket with items to use during our stay (dog bowls, towels, treats etc....see their website). You are across the street from Tolovana Park and the beach. Decent ocean views from our room (we stayed on the highest floor...third floor). Rooms have individual balconies but do not have a wall between you and your neighbor so be prepared to make friends :). Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, service was excellent. The stroll to the downtown area via the beach is about a mile. We will stay here again.

We were so pleased with our stay at the Wayside Inn. It's just outside the downtown area, which makes it a bit more peaceful, and it's right across the street from the beach. We loved the views of the ocean! The pool and hot tub were clean and perfect, as were the rooms. Also, the staff was incredibly kind and patient with me and my daughter, despite our indecisiveness on the phone when we made reservations, and despite how long it took us to get ourselves to the front desk to check out! I believe Chad was the name of the very helpful person who greeted us; he was so soothing and hospitable. We will stay here again--hopefully in the very same room!

I just returned from my first stay in Cannon Beach. I stayed at the Wayside Inn and could not have asked for anything more. The fireplace, the nice fluffy towels, and fully stocked kitchen made me feel like I was at home. The staff were nice and very helpful.
